Normal: About 40% of women have a uterus that tilts forward, 40% have one that tilts backward, and only about 20% have one that doesn't tilt.

Tilted uterus: A tilted uterus, also called a tipped uterus, tips backward at the cervix instead of forward. It's typically considered a normal anatomical variation. A normal "cause" can be an inherited condition. Best wishes.
