No need to be scared: Seeing that you are on Propranolol (a beta blocker) that works to lower heart rate, I am not surprised by your heart rate of 58 bpm. Suspect you are taking it for headaches? As long as you do not feel as though you are going to pass out, you are fine. If you exercise, or are fit, your resting heart rate may be low and then lowered further bc of propranolol. Normal HR 60-
