Not necessarily: You are taking propranolol which can slow the heart rate as a normal effect of the medication. A Dr would need to know why you are taking this medication in order to evaluate you. Sometimes this medication is purposely give to lower the heart rate. Some athletes have resting heartbeats in the 50-60 BPM range which is normal for them. Speak with your physician who knows you best.
