See doctor: New lumps are concerning and should be evaluated by a doctor. There are several possible causes, including inflammation, infection, and cancer. Please see a doctor.

Calcified neck nodes: What is the question? your child has neurofibromatosis (type I or II?) and has been under a doctor's care and you likely had CT scan of your son's neck to detect the "calcified nodes". There are several reasons including TB or other infection or non-specific chronic inflammation. An excisional biopsy may be necessary for a definitive diagnosis.
