Contagious: For bacterial tonsillits, I normally recommend 24 hrs of antibiotics until you are not contagious. Please call your doctor and get a work note.

Tonsillitis: You need to stay home, rest, hydrate and take your antibiotics until you are fully recovered before you return to work. Otherwise, you are compromising your health and possibly placing others at risk. Ask your doctor for a note for a sick leave from work.
