Sore throat: You can get this feeling from GERD which is reflux or stomach acid coming up to the back of your throat and this can make you cough. Stay away from spicy foods, tomato sauce, and you need to be careful with the amounts of NSAIDs you are taking. You can take Pepcid (famotidine) complete to help with the symptoms.
