Gastroenterologist: It's time to consult a gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment of your chronic diarrhea. Tests will be needed to determine whether you have gluten sensitivity,intestinal infection,severe irritable bowel syndrome or inflammation of the intestinal tract. Pancreatic insufficiency with malabsorption will also be considered. In the meantime kaopectate or Imodium (loperamide) May reduce some of the diarrhea .
