?Dangerous: Dangerous is not the best word to use, but you should simply get yourself a good examination and maybe even some testing such as a C-Xray to assure the Brown tinged mucus is not blood you are seeing in your mucus, or a bacterial infection. Great job that you stopped smoking! Now just see the Doc for an evaluation. Best wishes.
