Rest ice ibuprofen : With pulled muscles allowing it to rest and avoiding reinjury is important. Use ice up to 20 minutes at a time as needed. Keeping it elevated helps reduce to amount of swelling. Ibuprofen or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications can be helpful as well. After a day or two start gently moving the muscle through its full range of motion. If it is not improved after a week see a physician.

Let's make sure 1st: first, I will prefer that you go to your doctor and maybe get an ultrasound to rule out DVT. If it's just a muscle strain, then NSAIDs Like Motrin and muscle relaxers can help with you pain.
