May be normal: Menstrual cycles can vary depending on hormones and other factors. Menstrual blood may be pinkish, red or brownish. If there are concerns of pregnancy use a home urine test to evaluate. The tests currently available over the counter are very accurate if you are even a few days late on an expected period. If your cycles continue to be irregular see your regular MD for an evaluation.
