Get another doctor: Sounds very frustrating but don't give up. Ask your PCP to refer you to another GI doctor. ER may not be the best option except in emergency. A comprehensive history, physical exam and work up may be required in order to make the right diagnosis and institute proper treatment. If you have health insurance, you may also get some help from them since they like to prevent too many ER visits.
