A member asked:

My anus hurts after i rode a horse. any way to prevent next time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Horse-back anal pain: Anal/rectal pain may be an indication of underlying disease--fissure, proctitis, fistula, abscess, hemorrhoids which may be exacerbated by with increased pelvic congestion while horseback riding. Of course, like anything, there is a right and a wrong way to ride a horse--pain suggests you may need an experienced teacher showing you how to ride better and what equipment adjustments are needed.
