What do doctors think about statins? there is much in alternative medicine saying they may increase rate of alz & decrease neuroprotective mechanisms.

Alternative??: Statins just may be the most efficient medication line ever created to help lower the death rate of our population. Sure, there are side affects, as with all meds, but the benefit significantly outweighs the risks. Alternative medicine is just that, an alternative view to science and progress. Study hard, young tyro. Good luck.
