Fibromyalgia: is a systemic pain syndrome which produces more general pain throughout the body. To be included in the diagnosis of FM, this pain should be located in at least three out of four quadrants of the body or along the entire spine, and must be present for a minimum of three months. See your PCP for evaluation and CBT referral for prevention.

Better sleep: Fibromyslgia is a widespread musculoskeletal pain syndrome. It is associated with poor quality sleep. The most effective method to control Fibromyalgia is good sleep habits combined with aerobic conditioning exercise and flexoril or elavil (amitriptyline) at bedtime.
