Doesn't seem so: Hi. No, that doesn't seem normal. I would guess that an aneurysm of the aortic arch or a subclavian artery could be visible in the suprasternal notch. I think you may get a more definitive answer from a cardiologist or cardiothoracic surgeon. You may want to talk with your doc about it, and maybe get a vascular ultrasound. Good luck!

Yes: in thin individuals pulsations can be seen just above the sternum and clavicle.
