Unlikely but see MD: Unlikely the "two bumps" are recurrent hernia (mesh failure is very RARE. However seeing your surgeon for an office visit would be best. Hope this helps Dr Z

Maybe not: I am assuming the repair was done open, not laparoscopically? The bumps may be related to the suture they used to sew the mesh into place, especially if you are skinny. That will eventually go away- although it may take months depending on the suture they used. There is always a chance of hernia recurrence, though.
