A member asked:

Nursed 1 month old will not sleep anywhere but me holding/carrying her. i cannot break her habit and she cries and cries. she is getting enough milk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Common complaint: Do you feel your breast get softer after she nurses? If so, you have enough milk. By one month, if you are exclusively nursing, she should be getting enough milk. But your pediatrician can confirm that by weighing her and compare with the previous weight. She should have wet diapers several times a day. If not, try a bottle, if she quiets down after, then she was hungry. See her doctor.
