Does not need it: At 11 months, a child who is growing normally does not need a night feeding. It is safe to eliminate the feeding completely. You can just stop giving him the 3 am feeding, or you can gradually reduce the volume over the course of a few days if that is more comfortable for you. Some parents switch the milk to water and find that this gradually weans the baby off the feeding. Good luck!
