A member asked:

I put my 11 months old baby to sleep at 7:00 and he wakes up at 3:00 am i give him milk? should eliminate the night milk?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Does not need it: At 11 months, a child who is growing normally does not need a night feeding. It is safe to eliminate the feeding completely. You can just stop giving him the 3 am feeding, or you can gradually reduce the volume over the course of a few days if that is more comfortable for you. Some parents switch the milk to water and find that this gradually weans the baby off the feeding. Good luck!
