Not a concern: The fingertip blood tests are very superficial and you are getting bleeding from the capillary bed. Your blood has the ability to clot and stop the bleeding, but it is not creating a large clot that can dislodge and create blockage elsewhere in the body. The dangerous blood clots (aka DVT) are in the "deep veins" as the name implies. This is a very different thing.
