A member asked:

What are the right amount of weeks to begin dilating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No right time: Every woman starts dilating at different times. Some dilate a little throughout their pregnancies, some never dilate until we help them with induction, some dilate early before baby is mature, some dilate right on time and some never dilate and we end up doing a c-section. The perfect time is different for every baby and every woman but would be right at the due date.
