?symptoms: What symptoms do you have? I find it difficult to believe that scar tissue from 45 years ago just started giving symptoms now. If you specify your symptoms you may get an opinion.Did you have cystoscopy? Urine culture? Bladder biopsy? Hope to see your question again and I will try to give you some opinion.Good luck.

Look further: Get a urinalysis (dip stick & microscopic) and urine culture to look for infection and tumor. Interstitial cystitis is a condition with symptoms similar to an infection but usually with normal urine. A cystoscopy is needed to diagnose this. Good luck
