A member asked:

What are the symptoms of aids in adults compared to in young children?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

AIDS symptoms: There are no specific symptoms typical of aids. Outside of acute HIV syndrome, which has several ways of presenting, some of which are like infectious mononucleosis, the disease remains silent until the immune system has been damaged enough so that opportunistic infections appear. The same thing applies to children and adults.
