Maybe stop drinking: Even if you only note periodic episodes of tingling sensations and numbness in your hands and foot, alcohol can lead to neuropathy. I would recommend that if you are finding this direct of an association that you refrain from heavy alcohol, check your vitamin levels and consider seeing a neurologist for a thorough evaluation which may include a EMG/nerve test.
