A member asked:

Im worried due to the condition of my pregnancy right now, the result of my ultrasound is transverse according to the doctor, i dont know what to do.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nothing to do: If you mean that the baby is in a transverse position in your uterus on ultrasound, there is no need to do anything. This is not uncommon and is considered an unstable lie. That is, the baby doesn't stay in this position . If it doesn't turn on its own which they almost always do, the doctor can turn it (called doing an external version) or, in the worse case do a c-section.
