Sore throat: a good home remedy is to mix cherry flavored children's diphenhydramine with cherry flavored antacid in equal amounts in a jar or bottle take a sip as needed to numb the throat.

ENT: Unsure if you can get codeine without prescription so if you have not seen a doctor ,see one immediately for treatment. But if you have and there is still no relief,see and Ear Nose and Throat specialist. Hope you feel better
