A member asked:

Proper procedure for helping runners with heatstroke/seizure without epilepsy, etc? not an emergency, just need reference for upcoming meets. thanks!

Hydration: Having been an avid runner myself, I say that runners currently with heatstroke should no be running! For prevention of heatstroke suggest that you be very careful about staying well hydrated and do not run when it is excessively hot. I know of road races that have been cancelled due to high temperature. I assume that track meets would also be cancelled or postponed when it is very hot.
