Irritation: the glans area heals quite quickly; however you must give the masturbation a break for at least 5 days to let the area heal. Neosporin s fine as long as there is not a large amount of bleeding.

Trauma: Possibly due to trauma. If the irritation persists after a couple of days with or without discharge, please visit your primary doc. Or you could stop masturbating until you are healed; however if after a week it persists, see your doc.
