A member asked:

My trainer said, that people who used to be obese, then lost their weight, will notice having larger than average leg muscles, compared to others.?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes if they r active: I have been suprize by how mascular is the legs of obese people are, this likely due to the extra weight that they have to carry around 24/7. This of course is until their movement and activity start to slow down, at then you will probably start seeing atrophy and loss of this mascular bulk.
