Safe but not helpful: Massage may help discomfort temporarily but won't help constipation. Whole bottle of Magnesium citrate safe &effective to clean out colon. Then start daily generic Miralax (polyethylene glycol) to prevent constipation. Simethicone can help reduce cramping. Bisacodyl can increase movement of bowel. Fiber helpful but usually not enough for persistent constipation. Drink lots of fluid.
