Maybe: There are other antibiotics that work great for dental infections. Antibiotics take 1-2 days to really kick in. Ask your doctor if another antibiotic (like amoxicillin) is right for you.

Toothaches: Toothaches are not "cured" by any medications. Rotten teeth need to be treated or extracted by a dentist. The longer you wait, the worse off you will be. Please call a local dentist for an appointment.

Going to dentist?: Those things may help. Other meds may help as well. However, they will not solve the problem in the long run. If you can please do seek the care of a reputable dentist. If you do not know a dentist please try to find one online with really nice reviews.

Antibiotic: The antibiotic you are taking is not the best for toothache Ask dentist for alternative. You need the tooth treated. Meds don't solve the problem.
