Cesarean: Repeat cesarean sections are done as scheduled procedures. Vaginal births can be done depending on the reason for your section. From what you stated my guess is that you were laboring and the baby did not like it. A trial of labor can be attempted after discussion with your doctor. The decision is dependent on how well the baby is fitting and how your cervix is responding.

C/Section: It is possible to have a vaginal delivery after c-section depending on the reason you had the first. However, there are risks associated with it, and hospital and physician requirements that must be met (which may not be possible for them). The average concensus is 4 c/sections. Each time you have one increases the risk of abnormal placental implantation with subsequent pregnancies.
