No special diet: You do not have to modify diet with vaginal metronidazole. I would recommmend condom use while using, but you can resume sexual activity at your convience.

Some things: When using metronidazole, you should avoid alcohol. As far as intercourse, i generally tell my patient's to avoid it for about a week to give the infection time to clear up.
