Maybe: Multiple problems could exist when having tooth sensitivity. These problems are typically easily diagnosed by a dentist. When a potential osmotic difference between the concentration of the fluid in the tubes of teeth and the fluid of the mouth exists, a patient may feel pain. Consult your dentist to determine what your problem is.

Of course: Sensitivity to sweets is usually a sign of decay in a tooth, although other possibilities such as a cracked or leaking filling, coronal fracture, cervical sensitivity, chipped filling are also possible causes. See a dentist for a dental evaluation.
