A member asked:

What are some snack ideas so my daughter doesn't faint from hypoglycemia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Frequent: If your daughter tends to have hypoglycemia, i.e. has a condition called ketotic hypoglycemia, she should have frequent snacks with a combination of protein, carbohydrate and fat every 4 hours. Good examples are nuts and fruit, egg or cheese sandwich, yogurt. Be sure she has seen a doctor to determine why she has this and get advice on management after proper diagnosis.
