BEst to be safe and: get a thorough exam by your regular doctor. If they can not explain your bleeding and treat it to complete resolution in a short period of time, you need to see a gastroenterologist or colon and rectal surgeon for a proper evaluation. No amount of rectal bleeding is ever to be considered normal!!
