Preterm labor; fFN: Fetal fibronectin can be described as the "glue" that attaches the membranes of the amniotic sac to the side wall of the uterus. If the "glue" starts to leak out giving you a positive test, then you are at greater risk to deliver prematurely. Your risk of early labor is higher since your test is positive. Treatment options include, bed rest, steroids and close observation.
