BP cause tests aldo: If they are high or low. Usually done looking for cause of high blood pressure or low blood pressure. Renin if low means Aldo or salt intake too high. If high suspect renal artery stenosis. Meta and nors are to test if you have a pheochromocytoma or other fatal tumor (if Dx missed) causing high BP. They can mean you are pregnant if both R and A high. If mets low may have SNS dysfunction
