Does it resolve?: Does it disappear at some times and seem more prominent at others? Hernias are usually initially painless ill defined masses in the abdomen. No other symptoms? So no fever, no pain, no rectal bleeding, no change in your periods? If you can actually palpate a mass go and see a doctor.

See doctor: This does not sound like anything serious but you need to see your doctor to make sure. It could be a hernia, cyst, lipoma or just a normal variation. It is likely not serious but it is best to check checked and know what you are dealing with.
