what might be the cause for a 3-year-old kid to feel pain behind his knee at nights?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Katharine Cox

At nights: Generally if the pain is at nights only and there is no swelling or redness present, it gets referred to as "growing pains". This diagnosis would only be made after an assessment with his doctor and a normal exam.
