Had cto of lad opened. 1 doc said take betablocker, 1 said no need. no known heart attack or high bp. what is betablocker benefit or indication here?

Take the betablocker: You have coronary disease even if you have not had a heart attack. The beta blocker makes your heart do less work so can prevent "stress" on the heart.

None : There is no evidence that beta locker has particular benefit inthe absence of angina,arrhythmia or heart failures.Its proven benefit is following a heart attack.
