Maybe medication: The c-section itself is not likely the cause of your constipation, but possibly the medicine you might be taking for pain. Also, some dehydration, rapid change of hormone levels from pregnancy ending can also be contributing factor. Acute pituitary failure can occur but not likely because you are not having other problems. Otc fibers, increase fluids will likely help. Consult your doc. Good luck.

Common - use: A stool softener like colace (docusate sodium). Stay hydrated (water or dilute juices). Pregnancy, surgery, and breastfeeding (if applicable) all dehydrate you and are associated with constipation. Please follow up with your ob-gyn.
