Big toe: You have bleeding under the nail .Go to the ER. They can release the trapped blood under your toe.At the same time they will take an x-ray to rulel out a fracture of the big toe

Ice it: until you can see a foot doc, who will X-ray it see if anything brown and check on the damage to the nail plate..
