No worse heartburn: Mostly avoidance of spicy, minty, citrusy foods, caffeine, and overeating help along with raising the head of your bed with bricks or tiles under the posts on the floor, antacids and medications like pepcid (famotidine) to ease symptoms. It does not harm, however. If you enjoy it and it relaxes you. Why not? Just don't fall asleep in there.
