Increased: atmospheric pressure on your left ear drum because you did not keep your mouth open during asecend or descend of the plane. Take pain medication. It will go away gradually. Chew gum for a couple of days.

Migraine headache: from your given history, it sounds like a vascular (Migraine ) headache . Have you ever had a similar headache before? You should see your doctor / provider . If it is a migraine headache , there are several effective treatments available. I'm not certain if the plane flight may have caused the headache (changes in cabin pressure etc.)
