Neurologist: You're experiencing irritability of superficial nerves in a generalized fashion. The head twitching appears to be neuromuscular irritability. Since there are various causes of these symptoms,I recommend that a neurologist examine you for diagnosis and treatment. If he/she feels that the problem is psychosomatic, a referral will be made to a psychiatrist.
