Very slow wean: may be required to get done with xanax (alprazolam). Something like a fraction of a milligram per week. Lexapro is one of the best ssri's out there and therefore top shelf treatment for anxiety (the ssri group). On top of that, also quickest acting at full strength eg on the order of 2 weeks per each dose strength vs other ssri's taking double time.
