A member asked:

If you have had a brain mri would it show an anuyrsm? and if its negative at 29yrs old do you have to worry about developing one? saw 1 in50 have one.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

LIKELY OK: An MRI with contrast should demonstrate any sizable aneurysm, and really only the larger ones are risky. Suspect you should be reassured by negative outcome, and quite unlikely of your developing an aneurysm at this point, assuming you never encounter issues with systemic infections, endocarditis, or uncontrolled hypertension in future.
