Unprotected sex: Highly unlikely that you would be asymptomatic all these years without treatment. So HIV is unlikely. if you are really worried you can get checked . Usually patients present with an unusual infection -an opportunistic infection-pneumocystis, thrush,toxoplasmosis. Your age group though should be checked for Hepatits C (possibly hep B as well) especially since there is now good treatment.
