Keeping up: I agree, wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath are often sports or exercise induced asthma symptoms. You may also feel like you cannot keep up with your friends in sports. If you have these symptoms, or a strong family history of asthma and are concerned you may have it, contact your doctor, they can help answer the question with a history, physical and some additional testing.

Exercise-induced...: Exercise induced asthma is when there is bronchospasm with exercise. Symptoms of bronchospasm include cough, wheeze, shortness of breath, chest discomfort. If this entity is diagnosed, a bronchodilator inhaler taken prior to exercise will treat it effectively so see your doctor for diagnosis and treatment.
