Tinnitus: Ringing in your ear is called "tinnitus". It can be caused by many different things but most commonly by damage to your ear by high freq sound and excessive loud noise exposure. Initially it is reversible but can worsen with time and become permanent or lead to full blown hearing loss. It is important to go see your primary care doctor to help diagnose the cause.
